Are Thando And Ntando Duma Twins?
The identity of the duo have confused a lot of people, especially when the two twin-like sisters post pictures on Instagram with the same cloths and even hairstyles that match themselves.
However, Ntando Duma has disclosed that her sister Thando is not her twin sister despite their look-alike and similarities. Thando has been confirmed to be the eldest sister but not Ntando duma’s biological twin sister.

Ntando Duma was born on August 29, 1995, and as of 2023, she is 27 years old and rose to fame when she was very young, just like her elder sister, Thando Duma. However, Ntando Duma is the most popular among her siblings due to the brand name and career she has built for herself.
The duo, especially Ntando Duma have made good names for themselves in the South African entertainment industry, but when she’s not trending in the media, she likes to spend some time with her sisters.
Thando And Ntando Duma Bio
Although they were born in Soweto, The duo was raised by her mother and grandmother in Orange Farm, on the outskirts of Johannesburg in South Africa.
The family is creative at heart, the sisters found their passion early on in life and decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry when they were yet in school.
Ntando – “I don’t think I belong anywhere else other than in entertainment, I realised this when I was in grade 8.”
After having participated in creative projects at school, Ntando decided to take a leap of faith and went for her first audition on the 8th of November 2008, a date she will never forget.
Ntando continued in an interview, “If it wasn’t for that day, I wouldn’t have started and I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
As much as entertainment is an important part of her life, so is her family, whom she shares a strong bond with.
Lindo Duma, Ntando’s sister stated, “Family is important to me because it is an incredible source of strength, it teaches us the core fundamental values of life and meaningful relationships.”
It is also important to note that Ntando isn’t the only Duma sister in the limelight as Thando Duma, a.k.a. Lady Amar, has also made herself known as a DJ.
The duo also have two extra sisters, makin them four sisters, and they have an unbreakable bond and try to spend time with each other as much as possible. \
They claim that when they’re together however, their young hearts come to life and we saw it in full force as they enjoyed a fun pajama sleepover!
Now that three of them have made the circle bigger with their own children, what has motherhood taught the Duma sisters?

“Being a mom, there is no formula, there is no textbook, you go with your intuition,” says Lindo. An opinion which Ntando agrees with.
“Being a mom also means that you don’t know everything, you also learn things in the process.”
